alesis m1 active mk2?? are they good for dnb?
i used the active mk2 for almost 3 years and produced most of my tracks on them , including all my 19 vinyl and few digital releases so far

really good choice for the price as they have good bottom , but nothing like clear hi end and mids ...
switched to Dynaudio BM6 last november and it makes really big difference in the clear sound and powerful output - shaking my pants and wobbling the floor in the studio hehe
my production get way much clearer and deeper in details as i was able to hear much more details in the sound and compared to the alesis i can say its almost like comparing monitor sound to hi fi sound , but at the end of the day its not what u use , but how u use it and how much you are used to it

heard the Adam 7 at friend of mine and they sounds awsome , especially for the hi and mid end ... need sub for my needs and how i am getting the right low end at home , but probably the p11 gonna be the tits !!!
I am also using some weird 10 euro plastic pig radio with audio input to check levels and sounds on mono and the worst possiable speaker i can find around...also mobile phones , laptops and crap headphones are good to get some use when u want to be sure your tunes sounds the same everywhere

also the low cut on that stuff brings u lots of info for your bass harmonies sometimes , but at the end there's nothing better from checking your tunes out in club with good soundsistem and with proper audience
